Gazprombank IFRS net profit doubles to 76 bln rbl in Jan–Jun

MOSCOW, Aug 27 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russia’s Gazprombank more than doubled on the year to 76.1 billion rubles in January–June from 28 billion rubles in the same period of 2020, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the bank said on Friday.

The net interest income rose by 27% to 96.8 billion rubles.

The bank’s assets grew by 5.2% in January–June to around 7.92 trillion rubles. Shareholders’ equity rose by 8.9% to 864.4 billion rubles.
